Right2Drive Station205

With a fleet of around 100 vehicles for customers whose cars are being assessed or repaired after an accident, Right2Drive recently found the perfect Auckland premises at Station205 in Penrose.

‘Our business assists not-at-fault drivers with a replacement vehicle following an accident,’ says Right2Drive’s Business Development Executive Brett Thompson. ‘Our Auckland fleet has a huge variety of makes and models. We replace vehicles on a like-for-like basis – we can even replace taxis and delivery vehicles – so people are not disrupted, and can keep commuting and working, while insurers assess and fix their vehicle.’

Getting these vehicles to the client quickly is a fundamental part of Right2Drive’s business, which makes Station205’s central location ideal for servicing the wider Auckland region.

‘I was part of the property selection process,’ says Brett. ‘We looked at lots of properties, and this was the pick of the crop.’ Covering Silverdale to South Auckland, with some clients as far away as Northland and Pukekohe, the Penrose location was an excellent choice. ‘We meet clients at the panel beater, they sign up there, take the replacement car and we pick it up from the panel beater when their own car is ready.’

Right2Drive moved into the newly renovated Station205 tenancy in 2021. They have an open-plan office with space for 10 desks, and a 400sqm warehouse with a reception downstairs. ‘Surplus vehicles are stored on site – the warehouse can house up to 30 vehicles – but in ideal world, all cars are all out on the road!’

For Brett, everything about Station205 works. ‘We have access from both roads, Station and Rockfield, which is great for access. There’s a lunch bar over the road, and the newly refurbished premise was a big drawcard.’

And if there are any problems, ‘we know we were in good hands with Andrew,’ says Brett. ‘If we have any issues, they are addressed the same day and all his contractors are professional and proactive.’
